Dr. Alida Mataczynski started Helping Hands Veterinary Mobile Care to specifically focus on providing services that are better performed in the comfort of your home. Dr. M will work with your primary veterinarian to ensure your pet is receiving the best care possible and that the goals you have for your pet’s health are being met; whether that’s helping your pet recover quickly or to reach their peak performance and age peacefully and gracefully. Her main service areas includes Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor and Greeley.
Dr. M attended Colorado State University for her undergraduate studies and The Ohio State University, College for Veterinary Medicine. After school, Dr. M practiced large and small animal medicine and pursued her interest in complementary treatments. She completed the CuraCore Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians Program and was very happy to see the improvements it made in her patients. However, she quickly realized that the clinical setting can dramatically alter assessments and sometimes even diagnoses due to the high-stress environment. The clinical environment is often not conducive for acupuncture, therapy, or end-of-life discussions either.
By providing care in your home, kennel or barn, Dr. M will help you achieve the quality of life and performance goals you set for the animals in your life. Offering care for all stages of life also allows her to offer Hospice Care and when the time is right, to say goodbye with as much peace and dignity as possible.
